How do I know which version to buy?
Count the string loops at the curved bottom section of your racket (the bridge). Three loops = order the 3-cylinder version. Four loops = order the 2-cylinder version. Still unsure? Email us at info@retenser.com with a photo and we'll confirm in minutes.
Does my stringer need to know how to install it?
Your stringer doesn't need any prior experience. Every box includes a QR code linking to a short installation video — they scan it, watch it, done. It adds minimal time to a standard restringing.
Will it fit my racket?
The Retenser fits almost every modern tennis racket. Each unit ships with two base parts — one flat and one rounded — to accommodate different bridge shapes. Works with all string types.
Does it add much weight?
Around 5 grams — less than 2% of racket weight. It also replaces the existing grommet strip at the bridge, which partially offsets the addition. The Retenser sits exactly at the racket's centre point, so balance is minimally affected.
Is it allowed in tournaments?
Yes. The Retenser is officially approved by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) and can be used in all professional and amateur competitions worldwide.
